How a €[X] Million Yacht Actually Gets Sold

Join me inside one real superyacht deal. From the first phone call to the commission cheque. Including the point where it almost fell apart.

You have watched the walkthroughs. You know the yachts. What you have never seen is what happens behind the deal.

On October 15th I am taking you through one complete sale. The listing, the pricing, the buyer, the survey, the negotiation that nearly killed it, and the money at the end.

Real deal. Real numbers. Nothing held back.

The three things you leave with

The real anatomy of a deal

Not the version you see online. The contracts, the survey, the escrow, the handover. You will understand how a superyacht sale is actually built.

The five places deals die

I have lost deals at all five. You will know where they are before you get near one.

The commission breakdown

Gross, the co-broke split, the house split, and what landed in my account. On screen. I am not going to be coy about it.

One deal, start to finish

Most training on this industry stays general. This one does not.

I picked a single sale and I am walking you through every stage of it.

You will see how the listing came to me and why it had nothing to do with a good pitch. How we arrived at the asking price and how I told an owner his yacht was worth less than he believed without losing the mandate. How I separated three real buyers from [X] enquiries.

Then the survey came back and the whole thing nearly ended.

What I did over the following three days is the most useful thing I can teach you in ninety minutes. It is also the part nobody writes down.

SAVE YOUR SEAT

This training is for you if

  • You are crew and you want to move from the yacht into the office
  • You work in charter, management or marina operations and you want to add brokerage
  • You come from outside yachting with commercial experience and a serious interest in getting in
  • You are already brokering and you know your contract knowledge has gaps

It is not for you if you want a passive income, a shortcut, or a glamorous lifestyle without a lot of unglamorous work. That is not this industry and it is not this training.

Your instructor

David Seal has spent nearly three decades in yachting.

He joined Ferretti Yachts in 1995 and moved into the sales office after the Ferretti Group acquisition of CRN. By 2006 he was brokering. He has sold vessels including one of the largest yachts in the world, and traded through the 2008 crash when most of the industry stopped.

He also built the first yacht walkthrough channel on YouTube. His three channels now draw more viewers than every other brokerage channel combined.

This training exists because of the messages. Hundreds a year, every year, asking the same question. How do I get into this.

October 15th is the answer.
